Is My Handwriting Offset in the Corners of the Screen Normal?
Table of Contents
If you've noticed slight variations in your handwriting when using your pen in the corners of of the screen, there’s no need to fret. This article will help establish standards, clarifying that certain deviations are within acceptable tolerances.
Understanding the pen calibration standards
For handwriting near the edges of the screen (within the 1mm area between the green borders and black borders), a calibration offset of ±0.5mm is considered normal due to the inherent characteristics of the electromagnetic screen.
For handwriting within the green borders (away from the edges), a calibration offset of ±0.3mm is considered normal as well.
What to do if you believe your handwriting offset exceeds tolerance standards
If you think your handwriting offset is greater than the acceptable limits, try the following steps:
- Calibrate your pen: Go to Settings > Display & Input > Stylus > Calibration > Accuracy and calibrate your pen to enhance its precision.
- Reach out for help: If calibration doesn’t resolve the issue, please send a video showing how your pen writes to feedback@supernote.com. Our support team is here to help you.
