Transfer Files
Learn how to easily transfer and synchronize files across different services and systems, so that your important data are backed up, safe and secure.

In this article, you'll learn how to quickly transfer files from your Supernote to other devices, such as iPhone, Andriod, PC and Mac, so that you can keep a backup of your important data.
Transfer files using the cloud services
Supernote Cloud
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the top menu bar.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Sync.
- Select Supernote Cloud.
- Tap anywhere on the Supernote Cloud line to proceed to the next step.
- Select folders you want to sync.
- Tap Save.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the sync icon in the top menu bar.
Dropbox
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the top menu bar.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Sync in the left panel.
- Select Dropbox.
- Tap Authorize.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete Dropbox authorization.
- Tap anywhere on the Dropbox line to proceed to the next step.
- Tap Select Folders to Sync.
- Select folders you want to sync by tapping the checkboxes in the top left corner of the folder icons. To select a subfolder to sync, tap anywhere other than the checkbox in the folder icon to open the folder and select the checkbox(es) next to the subfolder(s) you want to sync.
- Tap Save.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the sync icon in the top menu bar.
Google Drive
To sync folders to Google Drive, repeat the same steps above used for Dropbox.
Transfer files by email
- Slide down the sidebar.
- Tap Mail in the sidebar menu.
- Log in to one of your email accounts.
- Tap Compose.
- Enter the recipient's email address.
- Add the files you want to transfer as attachments.
Transfer files using a USB Type-C cable
- Plug your Supernote into any open USB port on your computer.
- Find your Supernote on the computer.
- Drag and drop the files or folders you want to transfer to a destination folder on your computer. You can also do this by copying and pasting files or folders.
Note: For macOS, an MTP software (e.g. OpenMTP or Android File Transfer) is required for your Supernote to show up on your Mac.
Transfer files using Browse & Access
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Browse & Access icon in the top menu bar.
- Navigate to the receiving device and enter in a browser the URL displayed in the popup window.
- Tap OK in the popup window on Supernote.
- On the receiving device, open a folder.
- Click Upload to upload files.
- Single-click a file to download it.
Note: Make sure your Supernote and the receiving device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network throughout the whole transfer process.
Transfer files using Direct Transfer

Before using this feature, please make sure your Supernote device and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi and that you've enabled the Direct Transfer function by going to Settings > My Device > Direct Transfer.
- Navigate to a file on your phone.
- Long press to select it.
- Choose to open it in another app.
- Select the Supernote Partner app.
- Click Transfer at the bottom of the phone screen.
- Select your Supernote device in the Available devices list. (Check the device serial number if there is more than one device that appears in the list.)
- Open your Supernote and confirm the pairing request if the pairing code matches the one that appears on your phone.
- Once your Supernote and phone are paired successfully, the file will start being transferred.
- You will find it in the INBOX folder after the transfer is completed.
